The School strives to improve relations between itself and schools by offering talks on recent interesting scientific research on Physics and Astronomy and on more familiar material of general interest.
6th Form Conferences
The Annual 6th Form Conference in the School of Physics and Astronomy will next be held in September 2012.
Christmas Lecture
Every year a Christmas Lecture is organised for GCSE students. The 2009 lecture was Rock in 11 Dimensions: Where physics and guitars collide by Institute of Physics Schools Lecturer, Dr Mark Lewney.
