BLAST

Balloon-borne Large-Aperture Sub-millimeter Telescope (BLAST) is a stratospheric balloon-borne 2m telescope which observes the sky with bolometric detectors operating in three, 30% wide, bands at 250μm, 350μm, and 500μm.

QUaD

The name QUaD stands for QUEST (Q and U Extragalactic Survey Telescope) at DASI (Degree Angular Scale Interferometer). It is situated at the MAPO observatory, approximately 1 km from the geographic South Pole.

We are also involved in testing the SCUBA 2 detectors.
