Matt Swaine from the School of Journalism will give a talk about the relations of scientific research and its methods of communication, give ideas for effective and engaging communication with journalists, present the viewpoint of a journalist about their expectations of scientist interviewees/experts, and give tips on how to make scientific content accessible to a wider audience. He will also talk about his time at BBC Wildlife and a few interesting science-related stories elsewhere.
