EOB/NR: where should we go?

I will review the status of (one flavor of) the effective-one-body theory of dynamics and waveforms of coalescing black hole and neutron star binaries. After discussing some now well established results, as well as new ones, at the EOB/NR interface,I will try to highlight where the model should be improved, focusing in particular on: (i) the description of the resummed waveform (and related radiation reaction) and (ii) the phenomenological treatment of the final ringdown phase.
